Spirituality

0.5 Continuing Education Credit Hours

This module reviews signs of spiritual distress and provides a spiritual assessment format. In addition, the death beliefs and practices associated with the world's major religions are described. Since much of what is considered spiritual care does not have to be religiously-based, non-sectarian intervention strategies designed to promote spiritual health at end of life are considered.

This module is not approved for continuing education credit by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology, The Ohio State University College of Medicine. This certificate may be presented to your professional organization for consideration toward required licensure continuing education credit.
